Devonport Aero Club Junior Flyers Program

The Junior Flyers Program is a youth organisation within the Devonport Aero Club. The program is aimed at 14-18 year old students to learn about Aircraft and aviation in general.

Members of the Junior Flyers Program qualify to enter the Devonport Aero Club Annual Flying Scholarship Competition to obtain a Recreational Pilots Licence.
At the beginning of each year a Basic Course is held in the school holidays teaching Aircraft and tarmac safety as well as Basic Aeronautical Knowledge.

After completing the basic course, Junior Flyers are encouraged to participate
in our monthly flying activity where all members fly an aircraft under instruction with one of our Club Instructors for a subsidised fee.

Other Courses are held throughout the year to advance Junior Flyers knowledge on flying subjects.

    2   Complete the On Line Membership Application Form.

    3    Under Nominated by? simply write" Junior Flyers Course".

This will register you for the Junior Flyers Course pay the fee using the

Students under 14 are encouraged to have a parent join as an Associate Member
allowing them to participate in Club Events under parental supervision.
